History of the village Vražné [ History ]

Historie obce Vražné
History of the village develops from the 13th to 14th century. Originally independent village Hynčice is for the first time mentioned already in 1374. Bulk of territory of the village is made up by fields and meadows that were in former times source of living of local population. The main source of living of village population has always been agricultural production. Inhabitants of the village were for long times engaged in burning of lime and cartage which was exported to other towns and villages in the surroundings but became extinct with development of railway. In the second half of 20 century many inhabitants of the village found a job in surrounding towns in the sphere of industry (so-called metal-agriculturers). Village border between Moravian and Silesian was later boundary-line of cadastral territories of Horní Vražné and Dolní Vražné. Horní Vražné with settlement Emauzy that was founded as late as the 18th century, and Hynčice was situated in Silesia, Dolní Vražné was situated in Silesia. The main source of living of village population has always been agricultural production. In the 19th century burning of lime and cartage spread out that became extinct with development of railway. In the second half of the 20th century many inhabitants of the village found a job in surrounding towns in the sphere of industry (so-called metal-agriculturers).
